Callie was found abandoned and wandering a sparsely populated area. She was completely lost and confused. She drank a bucket of water (summer temperatures in Greece are life-threatening to strays) and gave us a big hug. She is just a puppy, approximately 6 months old. She is a tiger-striped mixed-breed Staffy.
She visited the vet and she was diagnosed with canine
ehrlichiosis. She received 30 days of antibiotic treatment and is now feeling
much better.
Temperament: Kali is a boisterous little girl, full
of energy. Energetic and extremely
playful, she needs daily exercise to blow off steam! She simply adores people
(as do all Staffies!). She greets everyone with a wagging tail and knows no
fear! Out of excitement, she likes to jump on everybody, so she might need some
training there. She is also at that age where everyone is a friend, so she
wants to play with every dog that she meets. For now, she shares a cage with a
12-year-old male dog whom she has transformed into a puppy again. Ideally
suited for a sporty outdoorsy person who wants to introduce an element of cute
ridiculousness into his or her life! If you are interested in adopting Callie, please call 6934262050, Animal Welfare Society of Holargos (5871/2002). As required by law, adoption procedures include signing an adoption form and microchipping the animal.
